CHATGPT AUTO RUNNER
Privacy Policy
ChatGPT Auto Runner Privacy Policy
ChatGPT Auto Runner is an independent Chrome extension. It helps you run user-initiated batches of text, image, and audio tasks in ChatGPT from a side panel. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by OpenAI.
Data this extension handles
To provide its single purpose, the extension may handle:
- Prompts and task settings: prompts, prompt prefixes and suffixes, task type, image limits, output preferences, and task status.
- Images: images you choose to upload, images attached to prompts, and images generated by ChatGPT.
- Audio: audio responses created by ChatGPT for text-to-speech Jobs, together with the local audio data needed to play or export those responses.
- ChatGPT page content: the page content needed to submit a user-initiated task and capture the resulting text, images, or audio from the ChatGPT tab.
- Local product data: drafts, Job history, response, image, and audio outputs, timestamps, settings, and local preferences.
- Active-tab availability: the current tab URL and page status may be checked to determine whether the supported ChatGPT page is open. The extension does not collect your general browsing history.
How the data is used
The extension uses prompts, images, audio, ChatGPT page content, and local product data only to prepare, submit, monitor, and display the Jobs that you start, and to let you review, export, retry, or delete their local results. It does not use this content for advertising, unrelated profiling, or sale.
Where data is processed and stored
When you choose to start a Job, the prompts and any selected images are sent directly from your browser to ChatGPT at chatgpt.com so ChatGPT can process the request. For text-to-speech Jobs, the extension captures the resulting audio from the ChatGPT page so it can be played and exported locally. ChatGPT and OpenAI handle data sent to ChatGPT under their own terms and privacy policies. Please review:

The extension stores drafts, Job history, settings, and captured text, image, and audio outputs locally in the browser's extension storage (IndexedDB). The developer cannot retrieve this local product data from the extension.
The extension does not send your ChatGPT prompts, page content, images, audio, or outputs to the developer's backend.
Retention and deletion
Local data, including prompts, images, audio, Job history, settings, and captured outputs, remains in your browser until you delete individual Jobs, use the extension's clear or reset controls, clear the extension's browser data, or uninstall the extension. Because this data is stored locally, the developer cannot retrieve or delete it for you from a remote system.
Data sent to ChatGPT may be retained or otherwise processed by OpenAI according to OpenAI's policies and your account settings.
Sharing and third parties
The extension does not sell your data or share your prompts, images, audio, ChatGPT page content, or local Job records with advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties.
When you choose to run a Job, the core workflow sends the prompt and any selected images to ChatGPT because that transfer is necessary to provide the requested feature. ChatGPT and OpenAI process that data under their own terms and privacy policies.
The extension may also disclose information if required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect security, rights, or users.
Chrome Web Store Limited Use commitment
Use of information obtained from Chrome APIs and from the supported ChatGPT page is limited to providing and improving the extension's single purpose: running user-initiated text, image, and audio Jobs in ChatGPT.
The extension does not use that information for personalized advertising, credit decisions, data brokerage, or any unrelated purpose.
The extension is not designed to bypass ChatGPT safety safeguards, access controls, rate limits, or usage restrictions. Optional parallel execution is a user-controlled convenience for running the user's own Jobs and does not alter or evade those controls.
The extension does not send ChatGPT page content, prompts, images, audio, or generated responses to the developer's backend.
The extension does not allow humans to read user data except with your explicit consent, when required for security, or when required by law. Any transfer is limited to what is necessary to provide the disclosed feature, comply with law, or protect against abuse and security threats.
Your choices
You decide when to start a Job and what prompts and images to submit. Do not submit information to ChatGPT that you are not authorized to share.
You can stop a Job, delete individual history items, clear local data, or uninstall the extension at any time.
For requests concerning data processed by ChatGPT, please contact OpenAI through its privacy resources.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the extension's data practices change or when clarification is needed. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made. Continued use of the extension after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
